Botox & Fillers
in Belize

I’m Rogelio Rincón Lozano, M.D., a board-certified specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery with over 15 years of experience treating patients across Latin America.

Botulinum toxin and dermal fillers are among the most effective non-surgical treatments available today: when performed by the right specialist, the results are subtle, natural, and lasting.

Let’s figure out together what makes sense for your face.

Frequent Asked Questions

If you are considering Botox or fillers in Belize and have questions, you are not alone. Here are the ones I hear most often.

What is the difference between Botox and dermal fillers?

Botulinum toxin relaxes specific facial muscles to smooth dynamic lines: forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet, frown lines. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, restore lost volume in areas like the cheeks, lips, or under-eye hollows, and can also improve facial contour. Both are non-surgical, require no recovery time, and can complement each other well.

Where do consultations take place?

All consultations are held at Northern Medical Specialist Plaza, located in Orange Walk. You can view the exact location here. I also travel periodically to Belize City: reach out via WhatsApp and my team will let you know the available dates.

How long do results last?

Botulinum toxin typically lasts between 3 and 6 months, depending on the area treated and individual factors. Dermal fillers can last anywhere from 6 months to over a year, depending on the product used and the treatment zone. I’ll give you a realistic expectation during your consultation, not a sales pitch.

Is the treatment painful?

Both treatments involve minimal discomfort. Botulinum toxin is applied with a very fine needle: most patients describe it as a brief pinch. For fillers, I apply a topical anaesthetic beforehand to keep you comfortable throughout the session. The full procedure is typically completed in under 30 minutes.

How do I know if these treatments are right for me?

That is exactly what the consultation is for. I assess your facial structure, skin condition, and goals before making any recommendation. If something is not appropriate for you, I will tell you directly, including recommending no treatment at all if that is the honest answer.

Botox & Fillers: available across Belize

Patients come to consult with me from San Pedro, Caye Caulker, Orange Walk and Placencia, among other communities across the country. Access to a qualified specialist should not depend on where you live.

Aesthetic treatments available

Both treatments are non-surgical and require no recovery time. What differentiates a good result from a poor one is not the product: it is the specialist who applies it and the assessment that precedes it.

Botulinum Toxin (Botox) +

Targets specific facial muscles to relax expression lines: forehead, glabella, and crow's feet. Results appear gradually over 5 to 7 days and typically last 3 to 6 months. The goal is always a natural, rested appearance, not a frozen one.

Dermal Fillers +

Hyaluronic acid-based fillers restore volume in the cheeks, lips, nasolabial folds, and under-eye area. Results are immediate and can last from 6 months to over a year depending on the area treated and the product selected.

Combined approach +

In many cases, the most balanced result comes from combining both treatments: botulinum toxin to address dynamic lines, fillers to restore structure and volume. I evaluate each face individually and only recommend what genuinely makes sense for your anatomy and goals.

Preventive treatment +

Starting botulinum toxin early can slow the formation of deeper wrinkles over time. Whether this is appropriate depends on your age, skin condition, and specific goals.

Why the specialist you choose matters

Botox and fillers may appear simple, but results depend almost entirely on who performs them. Incorrect technique, poor product selection, or a misjudged anatomy can lead to asymmetry, an unnatural appearance, or complications that are difficult to reverse.

A board-certified plastic surgeon brings formal training in facial anatomy, clinical judgment, and the experience to know when not to treat.

That is not a minor distinction: it is what separates a result you are satisfied with from one you regret.

Your consultation, step by step

Send me a message on WhatsApp at +52 55 4802 4070. My team will confirm availability and help you schedule an appointment at Northern Medical Specialist Plaza in Orange Walk, or at one of my Belize City dates.

I begin every consultation by listening. Before I offer any opinion, I want to understand what you are looking for, what concerns you, and what outcome you have in mind. The appointment lasts a full hour: there is no rush, and no question is too small.

Once I have assessed your facial structure and skin condition, I will walk you through the options that make sense for you, explaining what each treatment involves, what results are realistic, and how long they last. If nothing is appropriate, I will tell you so.

Non-surgical treatments require minimal aftercare, but I will make sure you leave with clear, written instructions on what to expect in the hours and days that follow. My commitment to you does not end when you leave the room.
